| I had my alternator rebuild by a local shop because it was making a fair loud bearing noise at idle when I had my headlights on and foot on the brake pedal. It has all new bearings and whatever else they do on a rebuild. Except the same thing occurs still, if I have my windows down I can hear a bearing noise that gets louder when I put my foot on the brake or add additional electrical load. When the Z is warming up with a higher idle this noise is not present. Does anyone else hear this with an under drive crank pulley? My thought is perhaps the alternator is working near 100% at idle as bearing noise is more or less normal when alternator is loaded up.
